A new image from the shocking adultery scandal has been revealed.
Recently, social networks have been continuously spreading images that are said to capture intimate moments between CEO Andy Byron and HR director Kristin Cabot, not long before they were discovered having an affair via “kiss cam” at a Coldplay music event.
The footage was filmed at Gillette Stadium, near Boston, on the evening of July 16. The two appeared next to each other in a position near the second-floor walkway, an area that is easily seen, and had intimate actions in public in the crowd. Many people believe that this is clear “evidence” of an inappropriate relationship between two senior leaders of Astronomer, a $1.2 billion artificial intelligence and data technology company.
The scandal broke out shortly after, when images of CEO Byron and Kristin Cabot were suddenly flashed on the big screen during the “Kiss Cam” segment, a common feature at US concerts. Both awkwardly bowed their heads and turned their backs to the camera when they realized they were being filmed. On stage, Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin even teased: “Look at those two. The incident quickly became a hot topic on social media, attracting attention from global media. The New York Post reported that both CEO Andy Byron and HR director Kristin Cabot were placed on leave immediately after the incident, and both have now left their jobs.
On July 19, Astronomer issued an official statement on LinkedIn, stating: “We are committed to the values and culture that have guided Astronomer since its inception. Our leaders are expected to model responsible behavior and accountability. The Board of Directors has formally initiated an internal investigation into the incident and will share more information as soon as possible.”
The statement also refuted some of the misinformation circulating online: “Alyssa Stoddard was not present at the event, nor were any other company employees seen in the video. Andy Byron has never made any statements, and any information to the contrary is inaccurate.”
Meanwhile, Andy Byron’s wife, Megan Byron, is said to have deleted her personal Facebook account shortly after the video appeared. Before the account disappeared, many netizens left comments related to the incident. Notably, Megan also deleted her husband’s last name from the account name, raising suspicions of a rift in the marriage.
