Fans have predicted that the MLS tournament will be utterly wrecked when their defences face two-thirds of Barcelona’s famed MSN trio (Messi-Suarez-Neymar) next season. This prediction was confirmed when Suarez opted to join Inter Miami.

According to the Spanish press, the experienced Uruguayan striker agreed to join Inter Miami after speaking with Beckham on the phone. The excellent former English midfielder wants to bolster his home team in preparation for the 2024 MLS season, which begins in February of next year.

Messi is expected to arrive in June 2023. Two other former Barcelona players, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, joined the owner of eight Golden Balls to Inter Miami a month later. If nothing changes, Suarez will come to the United States in December to fulfil a one-year contract with a 12-month extension option.

The pair is set to reunite at Inter Miami, which will make MLS defenders weep.

Suarez, now 36, is presently playing for Gremio in the Brazilian National Championship. Since signing the “contract of the century” with Messi, he has been a target for Inter Miami. Tata Martino, the coach of Inter Miami, even acknowledged at the end of October that the team had prepared for life with and without Suarez.

“In our analysis and arrangements for next season there is a category specifically for Luis Suarez. We must clearly plan the roadmap for next season with and without Luis,” the Argentine coach emphasized.

Suarez not only understands Messi very well on the field but is also an extremely close friend of the Argentine star in real life. In every Messi family’s fun, Suarez is rarely absent, and vice versa. On the Uruguayan TV show Punto Penal, Suarez even revealed that playing together at a stop before retiring was planned by both of them since they were still playing for Barca.

“From year to year, I went to Atletico, and he went to PSG, and that couldn’t separate our close, close friendship. We always dreamed of being together again. After Barca, maybe we will reunite in MLS,” Suarez once shared.
