On Tuesday, fans at Parc des Princes were given a wonderful sight: Paris Saint-Germain’s renowned combination of Ronaldinho and Lionel Messi exchanging an embrace.

The squad prepared a unique event named ‘Ronaldinho night’ to salute the iconic Brazilian star before of Tuesday’s Champions League encounter between PSG and RB Leipzig. As the game was ready to begin, Ronaldinho happened to run into Messi, which resulted in a beautiful embrace between the two football legends.

Ronaldinho was a contracted player for PSG from 2001 to 2003 before going on to Barcelona. During his time with the Catalans, he experienced Messi’s meteoric development firsthand. Interestingly, it was Ronaldinho who set up Messi’s first La Liga goal against Albacete in 2005.
