Manchester United continued giving wonderful presents and cards to children’s hospitals before Christmas.

Many United-themed shirts, hats, and annuals were donated to the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Christie, and Francis House Children’s Hospice. They also offered patient support and staff appreciation.

“At this important time of year, we need to help young people even more, and it’s an honor for me to be a part of this again.”

Players should help sick people celebrate Christmas because “Christmas is such a special time of year; it’s important for the families and kids to feel loved and warm around Christmas.”

“The best part of being a footballer is seeing fans smile.”

Over 2,000 gifts have been distributed to workers and patients this year. For Manchester United, the Foundation manages the initiative. 

Club mascot Fred the Red delivered gifts to Francis House. Aaron Clarke, whose children live at Francis House, said the visit is crucial because “it’s making good memories for them; with their sister being sick, it’s not as easy for them to go out and do certain things.”

 “Knowing people care and support them is huge for them.” Marcus Rashford and Juan Mata attended my daughter’s school. This demonstrates they care about us and the neighborhood.

 Again this year, the Foundation’s “Santa’s Red Helpers” campaign helps FarShare Greater Manchester. Their Christmas commitment is 400,000 meals for the needy.
