The Brazilian football sensation is predicted to be the standout player at the upcoming World Cup, and the surprise visit brought him back to his humble beginnings in San Vicente on the coast of Sao Paolo. The television show, Caldeirão do Huck, created an exact replica of Neymar’s first home, complete with a small living room where the family used to gather, and a bedroom filled with footballs where he grew up. The superstar was overcome with emotion and shed tears while being comforted by his mother during the visit.

Neymar paid a visit to his childhood home and was overcome with emotion upon entering his old room. Tears streamed down his face as he looked around and retrieved cherished items from his past such as football shorts and trophies. After taking some time to reflect on his memories, Neymar’s family and girlfriend joined him in the room to share the moment.

Neymar’s mother, Nadine, entered the room to offer comfort as he was overwhelmed with emotions. He asked her why, but she did not know how to answer him. The TV producers recreated the room with the help of Neymar’s parents and sister, and it featured family pictures. However, even they were overcome with nostalgia and cried at the sight of the almost exact replica of their former home. The episode was filmed while Neymar was recovering from surgery on his foot, before the World Cup. Neymar expressed his gratitude to presenter Luciano Huck on Instagram for the incredible tribute. The World Cup will begin on Sunday with a game against Switzerland.
