The footballer, who recently terminated his long-standing contract with Nike, posed shirtless to promote the brand’s latest venture. The Paris Saint-Germain player has been representing Nike for 15 years, but now seems to be exploring other options in the fashion industry.

Oh my goodness! On Thursday, Neymar, who is 28 years old, decided to show off his toned physique without a shirt in Superdry’s fresh campaign. This partnership is significant for the brand as it aims to raise awareness of sustainable fashion by committing to using only 100% organic cotton by 2030. According to reports from Brazilian outlet Diario do Peixe, Neymar’s contract with Nike came to an end on August 31st, after the two parties failed to agree on the renewal fee. Nike had been sponsoring the footballer since he was just 13 years old, and even supplied equipment for his team when he rose to stardom at Santos. This change of allegiance could potentially have negative implications for Paris Saint-Germain, who are currently supplied by Nike. However, Superdry’s partnership with Neymar marks a significant milestone for the brand in promoting sustainable fashion. PSG received a €70m increase in their contract after signing Neymar, who had previously renewed his Nike deal for £78.6m after winning the Copa Libertadores in 2011. In addition to PSG, Nike also provides kits for Chelsea, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Tottenham, and Liverpool, and sponsors some of the biggest sporting stars including Virgil van Dijk, Raheem Sterling, LeBron James, Serena Williams, and Tiger Woods.
