Sergio Ramos celebrates similarly to Lionel Messi after scoring against Napoli in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16.

Lionel Messi drew attention during Barca’s 5-0 La Liga victory against Celta Vigo with a celebration that appeared to have deep significance. In other words, making a hand signal similar to a phone call.

A lot of people think Messi is trying to hint at a contract extension with Barcelona’s BLD. And Serio Ramos celebrated similarly this morning when he scored against Napoli.

After the match, when asked about this, Ramos said: “I celebrated this way against Leo. I did it at Nou Camp.”

The Spanish midfielder added: “A week ago, criticism was killing me. I wasn’t their hero before I scored. I just try the best I can.”

Serio Ramos ought to be Real Madrid’s hero this morning. Ramos scored two goals in a row after Mertens’ first goal for Napoli, and Alvaro Morata’s second goal gave the White Vultures a 3-1 lead.
