Anchors aweigh! Gigi Hadid is a hit on the runway as she models a range of sizzling collaborations for Tommy Hilfiger’s seaside funfair-themed NYFW show
She has rapidly become one of the biggest models in the industry, but on Friday, Gigi Hadid showed she was more than just merely a catwalk queen during Tommy Hilfiger’s New York Fashion Week presentation.

The 21-year-old turned every head in the audience as she hit the runway in an outfit straight from her brand new collaboration the with the iconic fashion designer, TommyXGigi.

Clad in an outfit which put an edgy twist on the designer’s ordinarily preppy look, Gigi looked resplendent in a pair of pricey leather trousers, a chic military style jacket, and a blue bandanna wrapped around her neck.

Gigi also donned a white top and a pair of black ankle boots.

The top bore Gigi’s personal touch, as it featured a nautical themed monogram of her initials.  

For her second outfit, which did not appear to be from her collaboration, Gigi hit the catwalk in an oversize yet ultra resplendent velvet sweater in which featured the designer’s logo.

Her look was topped off with a silky white skirt which featured a red hem and a pair of sneakers.

Later she was spotted modelling a silk white basketball jersey style dress showing off her long lean legs.

Modelling the piece on the runway earlier, the beauty covered it with a Tommy logo oversized sweater.

And putting on a sailor-themed display, she walked in a navy and white striped blazer and white vest tied up at the waist. Her leather pants and boots flaunted her statuesque figure.

With a subtle coat of makeup atop her complexion, Gigi’s natural beauty shone throughout the show.

The star’s blemish-free skin was touched up with pink blush, glossy lips, and an earthy hue of eye shadow, complete with a touch of eyeliner.

Parted at the center, Gigi’s hair was styled into an effortlessly chic ‘do which was tucked behind her ears and preened into relaxed waves.

Strolling side-by-side the fashion designer himself, Gigi couldn’t help but flash a bright and vibrant smile as she starred in yet another coveted runway show, and for good reason.

Gigi has been working closely with the iconic designer on a collection that was to be launched as part of the Hilfiger fashion show on Friday night.

‘Global ambᴀssadorships are a bit overused and not too exciting,’ Tommy told The New York Times after the announcement was made last year.

‘We’re really doing something different. We’re creating a line called Gigi by Tommy Hilfiger, using her style, her sense, her social media presence as the top supermodel in the world today.’

The model will get to showcase her design abilities alongside the designer’s fall collection during the carnival-themed parade.

The collection is now available online.

Her look was topped off with thigh-high black socks, ankle boots, and a fringe bandanna.

Josephine Skriver donned a red hoodie, a white skirt, and a pair of sneakers.

She was joined on the runway by fellow catwalk queen Chanel Iman, who wore an identical outfit.

And of course the audience was packed with celebrities.
