Billionaire Elon Musk’s tech company Neuralink has implanted a chip in the brain of a primary care patient, and he’s now “recovering.”
Mr. Elop MŅsk gave the above information on January 29th and said that the transplant surgery had taken place the day before.
Neυralik is developing a brain chip implant that would allow severely paralyzed people to use brain signals to control external technologies.
According to CNBC, Neυraliпk is already re
recruited patients for its first clinical trials after receiving the green light from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in May 2023.

The test marks a step forward in Neυralik’s path towards commercializing its products.
The company said it will use the R1 robot to implant surgical chips in the area of the brain that controls motor function. The chip will record and wirelessly transmit brain signals to an app that decodes movement patterns.
If the technology is successful, patients with serious degenerative diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) could use the implanted device to communicate or access social media using their fingers to control the mouse cursor and type on the keyboard.
According to RT, Elop Musk expressed hope that Neuralik’s implant device could also lead to medical miracles, such as restoring vision to the blind.
