The couple put their $61 million Beverly Hills mansion up for sale in June 2024 when rumors of marital strife began to spread.

Meanwhile, Ben Affleck was seen without his wedding ring on his way to an office building in Los Angeles at noon on August 20.

Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce in Los Angeles County Superior Court without an attorney and listed the couple’s separation date as April 26.

A separate source told People on August 21 that Ben Affleck has “shown no commitment or interest in their marriage” in recent months. “It’s time for Jennifer Lopez to take care of herself,” the source added.

Meanwhile, singer Britney Spears married Sam Asghari in 2022. She signed a prenuptial agreement that guaranteed her fiancé would not receive any of her pop music earnings in the event of a divorce. But fan speculation was widespread enough that Asghari joked on Instagram that his assets were safe. The couple officially divorced in May 2024.
