Weston Coppola Cage, the son of actor Nicolas Cage and his ex-girlfriend Christina Fulton, was arrested for assaulting his mother with a weapon in April 2024.

According to court documents obtained by People magazine on March 10, the charges against Nicolas Cage have been dismissed from the case filed by Christina Fulton against the 61-year-old actor and his son, Weston Coppola Cage.

According to the lawsuit, Christina Fulton accused Nicolas Cage of ignoring concerns about the mental health of their 34-year-old son, Weston. Instead, the actor assisted his son in his behavior before he attacked his mother in April 2024.

Although the charges against Nicolas Cage were dismissed from the case, the charges against Weston remain.

It is known that Christina Fulton’s (57 years old) lawyer has filed a motion to dismiss Nicolas Cage from the lawsuit so she will no longer pursue the allegations against her ex-boyfriend.

Nicolas Cage’s lawyer recently called the allegations “absurd and frivolous”, adding: “Weston Coppola is a 34-year-old man. Mr. Cage did not control Weston’s behavior in any way and is not responsible for Weston’s assault on his mother.”

Weston and Fulton were involved in a verbal argument that turned physical on April 28, 2024. At the time, Fulton denied allegations that she and her son had argued. Instead, she said he was experiencing a “mental health crisis” and that she was trying to help him.
