Taylor Swift gives $197 million in bonuses to Eras Tour artists and crew: “They deserve it…” see more

Not an anti-hero!

Taylor Swift did it with a broken heart, racking in more than $2 billion in ticket sales during her Eras Tour — and she gave a ton of it away to those who helped her make it the highest-grossing tour of all-time.

The Grammy winner, who will turn 35 on Friday, gave a whopping $197 million in bonuses to her tour performers and crew, including truck drivers, caterers, instrument techs, merch team, lighting, sound, production staff and assistants, carpenters, dancers, band, security, choreographers, pyrotechnics, riggers, hair, make-up, wardrobe, physical therapists and video team, according to People.

In Aug. 2023, the outlet reported that Swift gave out over $55 million in bonuses after wrapping her first North American leg of the Eras Tour.

On Sunday, Dec. 8, “The Tortured Poets Department” singer took her last bow of 2024 with a final show at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver and showed her gratitude to fans during her opening “Lover” set.

“We have toured the entire world,” Swift told concertgoers. “We have had so many adventures. It has been the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging thing I’ve ever done in my entire life.”

At the end of her concert, she said, “I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date — my beloved Eras Tour.”

Taylor Swift reportedly gave her performers and crew nearly $200 million in bonuses.

Swift’s Vancouver show marked her 149th of the tour, which kicked off in Glendale, Ariz., in March 2023.

The New York Times confirmed with her production company, Taylor Swift Touring, that 10,168,008 people attended the Eras Tour — and it sold $2,077,618,725 in total tickets, which “double the gross ticket sales of any other concert tour in history.”

The Post broke down the top 13 most memorable moments over the singer’s twenty-one-month tour.

In addition to shattering records, Swift was the top-streamed artist of 2024 on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music, and her eleventh-studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department” (TTPD), was the top-streamed album of the year.

She’s not just ending 2024 on a high note. She’s also going into 2025 on top.

Swift was recently nominated for six Grammys — including Album of the Year for “TTPD,” which made her the first woman to be nominated for the coveted honor seven times, breaking a tie she previously held with Barbra Streisand.

Swift reacted to her Grammy nomination during a show last month.

“You guys got this album nominated for six Grammys,” she told concertgoers. “It’s so unbelievable, so thank you.”

She later said, “You guys have been so wonderful about getting into this album and really understanding where I was coming from with it and you made it, by far, the biggest debut week I’ve ever had of an album.

“And you kept that album at No. 1 for nearly four months … Everything that happens is a direct reflection of the passion that you show,” Swift concluded. “It’s truly blown my mind.”

The 67th Annual Grammy Awards take place on Sunday, Feb. 2, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
