LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It looks like Timothee Chalamet is letting loose just days before his highly anticipated movie ‘A Complete Unknown‘ hits theaters on Wednesday, December 25.
The ‘Call Me by Your Name’ heartthrob gave fans a bizarre yet hilarious treat during an impromptu Instagram Live on Monday afternoon, December 23. The 14-minute stream was pure chaos, complete with shirtless dancing and random antics.
Timothee Chalamet dances his heart out
The video began innocently enough. Timothee Chalamet sat on a chair on a soundstage, intently watching a large screen playing a vintage clip of Bob Dylan—whom he portrays in the movie—performing ‘Blind Willie McTell’.
As the song wrapped up, the screen transitioned to a white display that read, “Congratulations timmothee [sic],” complete with a glaring typo in his name. Cue the opening beats of the Black Eyed Peas’ song ‘I Gotta Feeling’, and just like that Chalamet was off to the races—dancing solo like no one was watching (even though thousands were), per OK! Magazine.
In one memorable moment, the ‘Wonka’ star ditched his tank top after dunking his head under running water from a random sink on set. From there, shirtless Chalamet kept grooving, all while a black screen behind him flashed the message, “We are so proud of you”.
Chalamet captioned a repost of the video for fans who missed it: “Timmy’s livestream that aired at 3:16 pm Pacific Standard Time on 12/23/2024!”

Fans react to Timothee Chalamet’s shirtless dance during livestream

Naturally, the abstract livestream left Timothee Chalamet’s fans confused.
“Now what the hell is going on?” one Instagram user asked.
Another chimed in, “That was a silly stream,” while someone else wondered, “Girl what was this?”
Not everyone was blank, though.
Someone explained, “This is a ‘goodbye’ to the character he is letting go after 5 years of giving it his all. Body and soul. For those confused about what is going on 😂.”
Another supporter offered, “Bro spent 5 years becoming Bob Dylan. Probably a very emotional moment to release this project into the wild. A well-deserved moment of reflection, introspection, and catharsis. Congrats TC!”
Timothee Chalamet spends time with Kylie Jenner and her children
Ahead of his movie release, Timothee Chalamet carved out some quality time with his girlfriend Kylie Jenner and her two adorable children – Stormi, 6, and Aire, 2, whom she shares with ex Travis Scott.
“They had a really nice dinner together with Kylie’s family, and they drove around to look at Christmas lights,” an insider spilled to Page Six. “The kids had a really magical time, and Kylie and Timothee made some very special memories together.”
Although the couple won’t be together on Christmas Day itself, they didn’t let the holiday pass without some thoughtful gift exchanges. According to the source, “Timothee not only got Kylie gifts, but also got some for the kids, which Kylie thought was so sweet and thoughtful.”
Distance won’t keep these lovebirds apart for long, though. “Kylie and Timothee are both going to be with their families for Christmas, but they’re going to stay connected despite being apart,” the source added.
The couple plans to keep in touch via FaceTime, texts, and calls throughout the holiday season.
